Is consultation free ?

Healthboxes is the no 1 telemedicine company in Nigeria. Unfortunately, the service isn’t free.

  2. Call or Whatsapp 09091111129.Relay your complaints to the Healthboxes manager with test results/ scans/ pictures if available.
  3. Make a payment of 2500 to Name: Healthboxes Ltd. Bank: Diamond (Access) Account Number: 0095217841 Ref: -Your name.The Healthboxes manager and a doctor will call you immediately after payment to continue your consultation.
  4. Alternatively, Click on the link below to proceed. https://paystack.com/pay/healthboxes_consult. We’ll proceed with your consultation once the payment is made and confirmed.

How soon can I speak with a doctor?

90% of our customers find that a 10-minute consultation is all they need to resolve their issue. That’s why our appointments are available in 10-minute blocks.

Can i speak with a specialist?

Yes, you can speak with a specialist with a referral from a general practitioner. It is advisable to speak with a general doctor first before you consult with a specialist. The fee attached to speaking with a specialist is 40,500.

How do I attend my appointment?

Making an appointment on the healthboxes app is as simple as ABC.

STEPS TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

  1. Go to app.healthboxes.comRegister as a new user
  2. Click on “schedule an appointment” on the sidebar
  3. Select any of the available specialists to suit. “General practitioner” for a general doctor
  4. You can click on “urgent call” to speak to any available doctor. Schedule your availability
  5. You can enter our online waiting room up to 30 minutes before your appointment.


Have your ID ready, as the doctor might ask to see it at the start of your consultation.

Who can use Healthboxes?

EVERYONE CAN USE HEALTHBOXES

If you’re registered as one of our partner doctors or specialist. If you are in Nigeria, aged 16 or over, and have a valid email address and a mobile number, you can sign up and book a Healthboxes appointment. Age 16 and below can also use the service with supervision from a parent or guardian.

Can Healthboxes deal with emergency situations?

Healthboxes should NOT be used in urgent situations or medical emergencies. If you think that your situation, or someone else’s, is or might become an emergency, you should IMMEDIATELY STOP using (or trying to use) the service and visit your nearest hospital. You should also CALL 112 in a critical or life-threatening situation, such as if someone has:

  1. Difficulty breathing
  2. Severe bleeding
  3. Severe chest pain
  4. Loss of consciousness
  5. Acute confused state
  6. Fits/seizures that aren’t stopping

If you or someone else is having what you believe to be a heart attack or stroke, you should CALL 112 immediately.Go STRAIGHT TO ANY HOSPITAL CLOSEST TO YOU if you think you or someone else is in any urgent or emergency medical situation – you should not use Healthboxes in situations like these.

Can you do physical examinations?

Healthboxes is an online only service. So, if our doctors think you need a physical examination, you’ll be referred to your local GP or local services in your area.This could include blood pressure checks, inoculations or a closer physical examination.

Can children use Healthboxes?

Age 16 and below can also use Healthboxes with supervision from a parent or guardian.
